The Representation of the Faroes in Reykjavík opens September 15th.

In connection with the opening of the Representation of the Faroes in Reykjavík, a reception will be held for those invited at the Town Hall in Reykjavík. The Faroese Prime Minister Jóannes Eidesgaard and the Icelandic Foreign Minister Ingibjørg Sólrún Gísladóttir will make speeches at the reception. Jensina Olsen will contribute with music. After the reception The Representation Office will be open to the public.  

 

In the evening, the Nordic House in Reykjavík together with the Faroese Nordic House and The Representation of the Faroes has arranged a concert in the Nordic House. Performers will be BUDAM, Jensina Olsen and Jógvan Hansen with the Icelandic group Izafold.

Schedule:

3.00 to 4.30 pm	Reception for those invited at the Town Hall in Reykjavík
5.00 to 7.00 pm	The Representation of the Faroes in Austurstræti 12 is open to the public. Everyone is welcome.
10.00 pm to 01.00am	Concert in the Glasshall outside the Nordic House in Reykjavík. Performers will be BUDAM, Jensina Olsen and Jógvan Hansen & Izafold.
